There are 34 domestic stocks with a Bid Stock Loan Rate over 5% fee and total short interest greater than $50 million. These stocks have higher than average stock borrow demand and are solid Long Lending opportunities in order to generate excess Alpha for your portfolio.
The Bid Rate is the market rate for lending stock while the Offer Rate is the market stock borrow rate for short sellers. The Last Rate is today’s intra-day Offer Rate for the security. The higher the Offer Rate the less stock borrow supply there is on the street while a higher Last Rate indicates that supply is diminishing quickly and rates on existing short positions will increase.
