The short selling in Coca Cola (KO) that had been increasing throughout the 4th quarter 2018 had been mostly reversed in the 1st quarter 2019 with shares shorted declining by a third, 7.5 million shares, to 22.35 million shares as of March 12th.
In slightly over a week short sellers have reversed course, shorting 4.4 million shares or an increase of 16% as KOâ€™s stock price has dipped by 1.6%.
We are seeing additional short selling today as KOâ€™s stock price is down slightly today.
